"Florentine's Gang" is a small cattery of a Canadian sphinx.
Breeding a perfect sphinx is hard and demanding work. But our heart, soul and mind belongs to those cats, and we are determined to reach our goal, and perhaps, one day we will breed our perfect one.
We take a few steps in order to achieve that.
First of all and the most important is health of our cats. All of them are FIV, FELv, tested and also annually tested for HCM & PKD .
Only the best quality food, lots of space to exercise and play, no cages whatsoever and lots of love... This is our recipe for a physically and mentally healthy cats and kittens.
Then comes "character". Our love for those cats is mostly for their extraordinary character. That is why, we never breed from those cats that are aggressive, hostile or suffer from any other mental disorder.
And at last, of course we breed for type.
We wish to see our cats as close to
"standard" as possible. But also we are trying to get something extra in their look. Mysterious, Noble and Graceful. Also Strong, Agile and Active. And of course... Bold!
